Nobo House is a recharge camp, not a party-first camp. Our public programming is intentionally simple: Chill. Dance. Lift. Sweat. It is a loop for people who want to move, recover, rest, and go back into Black Rock City with enough in the tank to keep participating.
Most of it is built by campers and gifted outward. These are not hotel amenities or paid services. They exist because Dusty Donkeys put in the hours to build, operate, clean, repair, and strike them.
Chill
- Tea Lounge & Smoothie Bar – a shaded place to rehydrate, refuel, slow down, and talk at human volume.
- Siesta Lounge – hammocks, cushions, and quiet shade for the hottest hours of the day.
- Sunset Bar & Low-Key Gatherings – a softer landing at the edge of night, built for conversation before people head back into the city.
Dance
- Salsa & Bachata Sessions – movement, rhythm, and connection in a low-pressure setting. No partner or experience required.
- DJ Sets & Dance Nights – one or two intentional nights when camp wants to move together, not a nonstop party schedule.
- Community Mixers – simple ways to meet the people building the house with you.
Lift
- Playa Power Gym – squat racks, benches, kettlebells, dumbbells, and a real outdoor workout space on the playa.
- Sunrise Yoga & Meditation – morning practice before the heat sets in.
- Animal Flow & Mobility – bodyweight movement to stay loose after long rides, long nights, and long build days.
Sweat
- Steam Dream & Sauna – cedar-lined steam and dry heat built for one of the driest, dustiest places on Earth.
- Massage & Recovery – camper-practitioner bodywork when available, focused on sore shoulders, tired backs, and playa-worn bodies.
For campers
The visible offerings sit on top of the less glamorous systems cost-share funds: shade, water, power, showers, kitchen, communal meals, transport, tools, and the people trained to keep the house running. You are not paying to be served. You are joining the crew that makes the recharge possible.
Built by campers, gifted to the city
If you want a plug-and-play camp, this is not it. If you want a place where the work and the rest reinforce each other, see how cost-sharing works, or apply to join us.
We’ll see you in the dust.
